The Ten Commadments.

He led the Israelites to freedom from slavery, he received the Ten Commandments and he wrote the Torah.
7. What is the Torah?
The law of God as revealed to Moses and recorded in the first five books of the Hebrew Scriptures.
8. What is a Jewish religious leader called?
A Rabbi.
9. When did Abraham leave the area now known as Iraq to settle in the area now known as Palestine or Israel?

It is a ritual meaing rest.

Sundown on Friday through to nightfall on Sunday.

It is to remind people that change is coming.

It is a day of atonement, most holy day.
14. What does the festival of Hanukkah celebrate?
Hanukkah is a celebration of the Jewish people gaining freedom. It is the most well known Jewish festival, but not the most significant as it is not written in the Torah

Jerusalem.

The remains of a Temple built by King David’s son Solomon, known as the wailing wall
.17. What does Bat Mitzvah mean?
It is a coming of age ceremony that happens to Jewish people at twelve or thirteen. Bat is for girls and Bar for boys.
